EQUINOR – JOHAN SVERDRUP LQ
Johan Sverdrup in located at Utsirahøgda in the central part of the North Sea, about 140 kilometers west of the city of Stavanger. A consortium consisting of Kværner and KBR was in June 2015 assigned the contract for building the deck of the utility and the living quarter platform, with a value of 6,7 billion NOK. Leirvik AS was tasked with construction of the living quarter modules for the platform deck.
The largest «hotel» in the North Sea
Johan Sverdrup has 560 people on board and is the larget living quarter in the North Sea to date. The living quarters were installed on the Johan Sverdrup field in the spring of 2019, and the first "guests" arrived only a week later.

Galley
In cooperation with Lerivik AS samarbeid med Leirvik AS Norrøna Storkjøkken AS was tasked with supplying the galley, dining area and laundry for the Johan Sverdrup project. With a high focus on the working environment, all workstations in the kitchen are adjustable to suit the individual cook. When possible equipment was wall mounted to make daily cleaning as easy as possible, increasing efficiency.
